#9 Wit – Flasking

Med en OG på 1042 og en FG på 1008, så ble alkoholprosenten 4,2.
Men det beste av alt var smaken, det smakte helt nydelig. Kunne drikket opp alt før karbonering 🙂

5 gram sukker pr. liter øl bør gi en middels karbonering, så får den stå og godgjøre seg et par uker 🙂

Etter å ha brygget stort sett bare engelske stilarter så tenkte jeg å bevege meg litt mot Tyskland. SIden jeg ikke har kjøleskap og det er sommer så var en lager utelukket. En Kølsch derimot er som en lager brygget med Ale-metodikk, og skal gjæres på rundt 15 grader.

Siden det er lagermalt som brukes så tar det litt lengre tid enn vanlig da den skal meske og koke i 90 minutter.

Jeg siktet meg inn mot 65% effektivitet, siden de siste bryggene har vært i underkant av 60%. Det jeg gjorde annerledes denne gangen vare å male malten litt finere, og det ga direkte utslag med en effektivitet på 73% 😀
Ølet blir derfor litt sterkere en stilspesifikkasjonen.
